When i first came across Molly Malone’s website, I told Terry, Mic and Max that we must try out this place. So on the first day in Phuket itself, we walk all the way from our hotel to Molly Malone’s for lunch. And what place can be nicer than here when its facing right at Patong Beach.

First of all, we couldn’t resist to order ourself beer! We paid only 100 Baht for one pint of Chang beer. Yup, only 100 Baht!

Face cover for “privacy” purposes.

We ordered the Regular Breakfast (which consist of 2 eggs, bacon, home made has browns and toast). As we are earlier than 12 noon, we got this Regular Breakfast for 99 Baht (After 12 noon, this meal goes for 169 Baht). This one is alright, just like any normal breakfast but instead of the regular beef bacon serve in Malaysia, the bacon they serve in Molly Malone is the pork bacon ( I couldn’t be any happier… Am a pig person.. hahah
)

The next in the menu for our lunch is the Bangers and Mash. Serve in a big plate is the two x-tra “fat” English sausages with fresh vegetables and mashed potato topped with onion gravy. The sausages is cook just right, not too hard. But i must say that the mashed potato is just *beyond words*. One of the better mashed potato that I’ve tried.

The last one the menu is really the-one (haha). The BBQ Pork Spare Ribs is a killer! Really. Comes in this dish is a huge serving (yes I mean huge) of 1000g rack of spare ribs, marinated in Molly Malone’s special Jack Daniel and BBQ sauce served with potato wedges and coleslaw. This is a must-try if you are in Molly Malone. I introduced this dish to one of my colleagues (he flew there a week after me), couldn’t order this dish as it was sold out for the day. Can you believe it?

Check out the size of the ribs against our hand!
They also serve their dishes with different sauces which includes the Heinz Caramel Malt Vinegar and Wolf Hot Sauce. Something different from our usual stuff eh…

Guess what? They also sell their attire known as Mollys Pub Shirts for mens and ladies alike.
