“51 years of harmonious living” - This was the title for one article written by TheStar on the celebration of Merdeka down South this year. In this particular article, there were pictures showing childrens of all races donning costumes of different races in bid to show, yes, show all in the name of unity. There’s even one picture showing some fire stunts by some silat-skilled citizens.
Harmonious Living? Think again. I choose to believe the so-called unity is an over-statement. This leads me to the “racist statement” that has gone overboard by saying people like me and my family, friends… everyone of my kind is consider as, oh well, immigrant…. yeah, after staying in this country for as long as I can remember, suddenly I’m an immigrant. Hmmm… maybe my status is the same as my Indonesian maid back home??? *farny* Then someone refuse to apologise…. because apparently there was nothing wrong with his statement…. Then he created a big-hoo-haa which sees all the big-shots to cover his burning ass. Then on Sunday, I understand from the newspaper that, now we are not considered as immigrants (or so called pendatang) cos now we are PARTNERS… yeah, you heard me right… PARTNERS. I was thinking, “whatever” when I saw the news until I realise it is so hopeless that some people actually can utter nonsense as proven from this piece of news today.

UPDATED : After all his not-so-cool dramatic event, all he ever get is 3 years SUSPENSION. read again : SUSPENSION! Wonder if its “other” people who put such remarks… I think ISA would be in place…. I wonder… And the best part is, after all the controversy all he ever get is S.U.S.P.E.N.S.I.O.N. And at the same time, the police warn bloggers and those who spread sensitive statements will see STERN ACTION. And wonder how they going to suspend those ppl… yeah maybe suspend u from your work place?? If you know how to think, FAIR is not even in the context and that’s if you get what I mean.
