Happy Birthday to me.  =)

Actually even though, today is the real day, but I’ve actually enjoy the excitement since last Friday.  =)  As my birthday falls on a Wednesday, Max decided to throw me a surprise birthday party on the week before (Friday) so that everyone can enjoy the party without worrying that everyone needs to report sick the next day.  Pro and cons I say. LOL.

The story goes something like this, usually on Friday, we’ll discuss where to go (yum cha, drinking, etc) in the office.  But on this particular Friday, everyone in the  office actually tak layan me!!! everyone seems to have their activity on their own.  I was a bit down why everyone seems to avoid me, I thought I did something wrong. Haha.

Then after work, I was telling Max that i wanted to go Bangsar to check out some stuff before going for a simple dinner.  Then he insisted that we go hang out at 7atenine.  I told him I wasn’t in the mood and insisted that we just go Bangsar instead.  Then he mention that he actually make a reservation cos the Chef in Black (If you watch Asian Food Channel, you’ll know who is Chef in Black: Real Name – Emmanuel Stroobant) happens to be there for some special event.  I still remember telling Max, what’s there to see?  Sure must be damn crowded la.  Then he insisted that he wanted to go and I hesitantly followed.  When I went to the first floor of the restaurant, its not Chef in Black I saw, i saw a bunch of my friends there sitting at the dinner table.  I knew it  wasn’t that simple that Max persistently (read: patiently too!) that i must come!  I almost cried as I never receive such surprise before. *sob sob* *emo emo*

Some of them came late, but I’m not surprised cos its in the middle of town and its a friday night, but I’m equally happy or not happier that everyone actually knew about this two weeks ago!

Ambiance was perfect, food was alright, drinks were like flow-less (is there such word hahaha).   But its the companion and friends that makes my day.

I went back slightly before 12 cos i was totally knock out!  Beers during dinner, shots of tequila (we finished one whole bottle in 20 minutes or so), one Black Lable and 3 bottles of Mccallan!!! Oh, and Vincent bought me a serve of Flaming Lamborghini.  How can I survive through that. Hahahah.

But I’m really happy as despite being older, I still got a party i call my own.  Thanks to everyone who make it happen and most importantly, thanks to Max who makes everything so perfect and its a great accomplishment for him cos usually i can smell something up his sleeves cos he’s bad at keeping surprises.

Just to show you, by this picture I was pretty well high and soon pengsan already la. LOL.  I really enjoy myself to the max, erm also with Max. Hahah  Adrian + Me + Vincent, one of my oldest friend that I know in KL.  =D
