Was just browsing through some of my Bangkok photos, and realise that there’s this restaurant that I wanted to introduce to you guys. :)
I understand that back in somewhere 2004, Thai Star Pol Tuntasatien started this restaurant in Sukhumvit area. I was actually attracted by the concept of Summer restaurant. Its all about the “casual concept, which you will see later. First and foremost, if you are really interested, please please make reservation and be specific whether you want to be seated at Spring or Summer restaurant (mainly due to your seating preference and you can order both menu from either side). Note: Spring is for ordering your proper dinner (Appetizers, Main Course, etc) while Summer serve sweet delicacies known as dessert :)
We started our dinner at Spring Restaurant. Overall I think the food is alright and furthermore our main intention is to check out the ambiance and also the dessert. :) Anyway, we didn’t really order much from the menu to give full comment on the overall food serve in Spring. Note: Sorry for the blur pictures cos I can’t seem to get the right setting and flash will just kill the pic. :)
Spring

We order a bottle of wine, and I like the Glass Bottle for this Wine :)

Crispy Crab and Mushroom Wantons (THB220)

Deep-fried Marinated Salmon and Thai Mango Salad (THB280)

Chinese Inspried Fried Rice with Soya Chicken and FRied Egg (THB200) – I don’t like this dish :(

Then we manage to get a table at Summer! When we first reach the restaurant, all the seats (outdoor) were taken. So after dinner we “transfer” to Summer for dessert. Check out the big pillows!

And the building is cool too right?

Our first dessert – my fave- is known as *drum roll*, Better Than Sex (BTS) – THB140! Yes! Instead of Vanilla Ice Cream, they give whipped cream but the chocolate baby cake is nice :)

Next one is known as Cup C Malt – THB190. Its malt flavoured cake with hazelnut baked in a cup (which defines the C Cup… hahahha). Anyway I don’t like this cos I don’t really fancy Malt.

That’s all we ate at Spring & Summer but I think its worth it for the first time. Maybe the second time, I’ll just go Summer straight for dessert and wine :)
Bramen gets a piece of Summer too!

Ok, here’s the detail of the restaurant:-
